SRI LANKA : Orion City gets another LEED certification

Orion City, added another achievement to its list of accolades recently by achieving a LEED Silver certification with a total of 53 points in the LEED BD+C: New Construction (v2009) category.

Known for providing access to leading edge technology combined with comprehensive facilities on par with the highest international standards, Orion City revolutionised the scope of built to specification, commercial and office infrastructure.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is the global monitoring authority on green building leadership.

Focusing on revolutionising the perceptions of how buildings and communities are designed, constructed and maintained across the globe, LEED certification is a highly coveted, premier mark of achievement in green building. Recognising best in class building strategies and practices LEED certification requires building projects to satisfy prerequisites which are awarded points for different levels of certification.
