Green Building Market Report South East Asia 2014

bild-blog

BCI Economics and FuturArc proudly present their latest ground-breaking Report on Green Building in South East Asia. Supported by all Green Building Councils across the region the report shows that Green building principles are now well entrenched not only in developed markets like Hong Kong and Singapore, but have also entered the mainstream in emerging South East Asia.
46% of South East Asian architects already pursue formal certification and 79% declare their intention to do so in the future.
Having long acknowledged that green building practices are important for the environment the industry is now also recognising the commercial benefits.
The consensus is that there are measurable economic benefits: almost every other architectural firm reports sales growth attributable to their involvement in green building.
