Green Building in Thailand’s Commercial and Residential Markets | Univentures | Worawat Srisa-an

Worawat Srisa-an shares the current overview of Thailand’s commercial and residential markets as well as how both are developing with the trend of green buildings.

Green building practices in Thailand are now adopted mainly in the commercial sector, as the property developers try to appeal multinational corporations by acquiring a universally acknowledged green certification, namely LEED. Although the residential sector has not yet caught up with this trend as of now, due to the consideration on return on investment, once the prices of green construction materials get more affordable, Thailand would see more residential buildings getting as green as the commercial ones.

Worawat Srisa-an is the President of Univentures Public Company Limited.
