Obstacles in Implementing Green Building Projects in Malaysia

This paper discusses the inhibitors existent in Malaysia’s construction environment that are preventing the prevalence of green and sustainable construction. The papers details the authors research methodologies which includes gathering data through interviews and case studies. The authors conclude that the problems mostly arise from a lack of awareness, even among architects and designers, and thus recommend compulsory training for them.
