Green Building Education in Vietnam | Saint Gobain | Hang Phan

Hang Phan identifies main issue hindering the growth of Vietnam’s green buildings industry and the current overview of the market.

There is an inadequacy of proper green education, generally for people, developers and other relevant stakeholders. On the other hand, stagnancy in the real estate market has a very big and positive impact on the construction market – it will give some more time for people to prepare and to understand the concept and to prepare to build green in the future. The Vietnamese Government however needs to learn from China and Singapore to implement stronger and better enforcement of the regulatory framework.

Hang Phan is the Technical Marketing Manager of Saint-Gobain Gyproc Vietnam, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
