Located at Trade Street, Pueblo Business Park, the second tower of Primavera Green Residences is the first eco-friendly condominium in Cagayan de Oro City (CdeO) as well as the first green and sustainable building that combines modern features and eco-friendly architecture facilities in Northern Mindanao, Philippines.
Multi-awarded Italian architect Romolo Nati (designer of Primavera Tower 1 and 2) explained that the enhanced natural ventilation in the building is designed in such a way that the inner courtyard allows the air to circulate freely all throughout the structure, allowing for more cool air inside. The inner courtyard is described like a chimney by sucking cold air in, and building owners are now able to save energy through the ventilation due to the reduction of air conditioning systems. Better yet, there was no additional costs used during its construction.
In terms of architectural design, the Primavera facade is shaded by a cantilever structure so the sun doesn’t hit the windows. While it reduces the greenhouse effect, the temperature is maintained low inside the room, so Primavera is able to offer its tenants up to twenty percent reduction in energy consumption.
Aside from its strategic location, various food options and first class amenities, Primavera Green Residence has a lot of outdoor spaces as well to give it a more revitalizing green oasis.
According to Italpinas Development Corporation (IDC) President and Director Atty. Jose Dayrit Leviste, III, the dynamic is changing for CdeO as it is a growing city, giving more unprecedented opportunities to be developed. A second project is expected to unveil once it has been announced by Atty.
Besides Atty and Nati who were present at the opening event, the official ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by City Mayor, Honorable Oscar Moreno, along with Msgr. Florencio Salvador who did the building blessing and Eileen Escobar-San Juan, the Local Economic and Investment Promotions Officer of CdeO.
