The Fourth Construction Industry Research Achievement International Conference 2015 (CIRAIC 2015) will act as the platform to promote Malaysia as the regional hub for sustainable construction. The conference is aimed for foreign participants to seek research partnerships and alliances among industry players in Malaysia – in the country and globally.

Before launching the event, Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof said in his speech that industry experts will be able to share their thoughts on sustainable construction and this in turn will will provide industry players with the latest information on green revolution in the construction industry. He also added that the experts will also give limitless insights on green building technologies that help reduce the significant impact of building on urban life and global environments.

In conjunction with CIRAIC 2015’s event, the Construction Research Institute of Malaysia (CREAM) will launch the Peat Soil Guidelines. Once construction starts, the guidelines serve policy makers, state authority, developers and industry players as referral points in the area of peat soils.
