Oriental Peninsula Resources Group, Inc (ORE) won the “Best Green Development” category at the 2015 Philippine Property Award for their Monte de Tesoro, their headquarter building in Taguig City. The building was also shortlisted with high commendation for “Best Office Design” , “Best Architectural Design”.
ORE collaborated with Gensler Design, an integrated architecture, design, planning and consulting firm to strategically incorporate elements which are fundamental to the company, including vision for the building and the image of ORE as a brand, as stated by Caroline Tanchay, the CEO and president at ORE.
Gensler developed a series of design drivers to put ORE’s vision into realization, among those are that the building should be iconic, the project should make business sense, the design should be simplistic and sustainable. The building also offers inner park and recreational spaces for tenants. “The design is future proof, allowing it to remain competitive for many years to come,” added Tanchay.
The Monte de Tesoro building had gone through rigid judging and inspection based on several principal criteria such as design and amenities, location, value for money, use of space, construction and materials.
